Hello, and welcome to my page! Thank you so much for visiting!
The 2019-2020 school year will mark my 8th year teaching special education. I have taught in both a K-3 building as well as a 3-5th grade building. This will be my third year in the East Peoria School District and I am excited to get to know everyone and work with such wonderful students.
I attended Eastern Illinois University and received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a Middle Level Endorsement. After graduating in 2010 I was a special education paraprofessional for two years. In that two years I fell in love with the work and decided to go back to school to become a Special Education teacher. I attended the University of St. Francis to make that happen.
I enjoy working with the students and seeing the success that their hard work brings!
My husband and I have been married for 4 years and we have two furry, 4-legged children named Oreo and Addi. We enjoy the outdoors and doing anything outdoorsy. Anything from biking, hiking, camping to kayaking and fishing.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will get back to you as soon as possible. The easiest way to get a hold of me would be to leave a message in the box to the right. You may also call my room phone and leave a message. I will not be able to answer the phone during school hours.
